Against the Greens flawed policies, the Royal Commission into the Black Saturday bushfires recommends fuel reduction burn-offs of Crown land. The scientific experts recommended fuel reduction on 12% of Crown land per year, based on years of experience and empirical science from Western Australia. Do the Greens accept this science, as they don’t like fuel reduction presumably because it changes the forest and generates carbon dioxide? However, wildfires change forests disastrously and generate far more C02.
